since babe took over the nursery owen had to have his own awesome room. I wanted it nautical but old school sea captain nautical not kiddie nautical.

St patties beer tasting party

My sister has a party every year for st pats and this year she had a beer tasting party. Im 8 months prego and allergic to beer but it was still fun.

Just take a cookie cutter and cup our petta chips or green taco wraps and bake them. they tasted great

She took small juice glasses and wrote everyones name on them. That way they didnt waste a full glass if they didnt like it.

If I could drink beer it would be yeti beer. because I love yeti's

So my sister and I love to make cute thing for our friends and their kids for holidays and put them in their mail box. this is our treat for this year.

bought a giant bag of skittles and separated them in colors

Used mini Reese for the gold because rollos are had to find

up them in rainbow order

Topped it off with cute clover paper and a happy st patties day sign.

Felt Food

I was trying to come up with new toys for my son and get rid of some of my craft supplies that are taking over my art room. I had a bunch of felt so thought hey felt food!

Is that an old glass? no its a cake stand!

So I have seen this thing on blogs about taking old glasses and plates and making cool cake stands. My sister and I went thrifting got a bunch of both and went to work. This is how we did it. It turned out awesome.

wash off all glass wear and dry

then spray with frosting spray paint any kind

use strong adhesive like plumers glue and glue glass to plate

once dry spray paint what ever color you want them

it was halloween so we did orange and black we have reused the black ones for other parties

Owens ABC's

I have blogged about an ABC book I made for our friends son before well I also made one for my son. Its a photo book you can get from any pharmacy photo section but The pic are of you and other things in your house or life he knows about. This way its easier for him to learn his ABC's is D is for DADA or N is for NANA.
