Felt Food

I was trying to come up with new toys for my son and get rid of some of my craft supplies that are taking over my art room. I had a bunch of felt so thought hey felt food!

Is that an old glass? no its a cake stand!

So I have seen this thing on blogs about taking old glasses and plates and making cool cake stands. My sister and I went thrifting got a bunch of both and went to work. This is how we did it. It turned out awesome.

wash off all glass wear and dry

then spray with frosting spray paint any kind

use strong adhesive like plumers glue and glue glass to plate

once dry spray paint what ever color you want them

it was halloween so we did orange and black we have reused the black ones for other parties

Owens ABC's

I have blogged about an ABC book I made for our friends son before well I also made one for my son. Its a photo book you can get from any pharmacy photo section but The pic are of you and other things in your house or life he knows about. This way its easier for him to learn his ABC's is D is for DADA or N is for NANA.

Car seat

So I was given an old car seat from a friend which was very nice but I was not the biggest fan of the pattern so I got some new fabric and sewed in Over the part I didnt like. It took me a while to sew it by hand because I was just not possible on a machine but it looked 100 times better dont you think?

St Pats is coming!

My family is super Irish and my sister takes being Irish to the next level. Her fav holiday is St. Pats and she made my son a really cute present today.

It is a bag of lucky charms and It says "So lucky to have you"

The bobo on his chin is from him trying to catch the dog and once he did they both ran into the coffee table :(

Wizard of Oz nursery

My second son is due in about 4 weeks and Im finishing up his room. We picked a Wizard of Oz theme. Im going for more 1940s man wizard of oz feel. I have a bit to go but I have a good start.

Above all this is a bit of room on the wall. Im going to find someone who has a cricket paper cutting machine and have them cut out in welcome to munckin land.

Megan Birthday

My sisters birthday was today! She goes above and beyond for all our friends and families birthday so I decided to do something awesome for her this year. Every hour of her birthday starting at 7:00 in the morning from 12:00 at night she got a gift. Some were lunch with friends or drinks but alot were gifts. I gave our closest friends a time slot and filled in whatever was left. It was an awesome day and really fun. I made her an awesome cake as well.
