Megan Birthday

My sisters birthday was today! She goes above and beyond for all our friends and families birthday so I decided to do something awesome for her this year. Every hour of her birthday starting at 7:00 in the morning from 12:00 at night she got a gift. Some were lunch with friends or drinks but alot were gifts. I gave our closest friends a time slot and filled in whatever was left. It was an awesome day and really fun. I made her an awesome cake as well.

My hubby just turned 32 and my sister made him an awesome birthday cake. We were going to go to a pizza joint that makes pizza like he had from his home town in NY state then go bowling. But it snowed and iced so we just went to his fav diner close to home. The night was low key like him and he got this awesome cake out of it.

My new years res was to become a crazy coupon lady. I'm on the right path. The main thing to do to get the best deals is match up store sales with store coupons and manufactor coupons. That is the best way to pay almost nothing if not nothing for a product. The first week and Jan I researched and figured out of how to do this and the do's and dont's of couponing. Week 2 I started, It has been about 3 weeks and I have saved over 500.00 and have started and nice little stock pile of goods. I'm still learning but im now hooked along with getting my sister involved and our friend melisa. Im teaching a girl I work with and buying my parents things they need for almost nothing. Here are two hauls I have made this month.

All this for $40.00 I did not have coupons for milk,icing,bread, or eggs

This is super fufilling and I'm not only making my husband happy by having a hobby that saves us money but im taking care of my family and friends in the process. Its easy to buy things you may not need just because its only 20 cents. But if you are always keeping and eye out for what your close friends may need or parents you can help everyone around you for pennies. You may not need 20 tooth pastes but if a few close friends don't have to buy that for the next few months they may be able to go out to lunch with you more often or spend that saved money on their families. I'm going to keep this up and you will see bigger and better hauls real soon.

Candie Tree for you and ME!

My father is a choc-o-holic. My sister made his a candie tree which was amazing! You could make this for fathers day or b-days.

Take a pot fill it wish foam.then wrap the foam in glad wrap so it doesnt touch the candy. Then put a stick in it and pop a foam cone to the top of the stick.Hot glue the candy on and TADA! Candy tree.

So my husband came home from being out and about an hr later I get up to do something and what do I see... Oh NO HE DID NOT JUST REST HIS GUN IN MY CHRISTMAS VILLAGE! Men They know nothing about good christmas decor.

So my friends and I decided to make gifts this year. My garden as you know produced a lot of herbs this year and one of my friends is a big cook. So im making her a cooking baskets.

To dry herbs I put them on paper towel and air dried them on my counters

I used my sons old baby food jars to store them and spray painted the lids black

I wrote the herb names on the lids with gold sharpie
